Terms and Conditions for Geode Drives

Welcome to Geode Drives. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our premium car rental services, including BMW rentals, sports car hire, executive car rental, premium vehicle leasing, and both short-term and long-term car hire in Dublin. By accessing or using our online platform or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

• "Geode Drives," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Geode Drives, a luxury car rental company operating from Home Villas, Dublin, Dublin, IE.
• "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using our services.
• "Vehicle" refers to any car rented or leased from Geode Drives.
• "Rental Agreement" refers to the specific contract signed by you for the rental of a particular Vehicle, which incorporates these Terms and Conditions.
• "Services" refers to all car rental, leasing, and related offerings provided by Geode Drives.

2. Eligibility for Rental

• You must be at least 25 years of age (or as otherwise specified in the Rental Agreement for certain vehicle categories) with a valid, full driving license held for a minimum of 2 years.
• You must possess a valid credit card in your name for payment and security deposit purposes.
• All drivers must be registered on the Rental Agreement and adhere to the same eligibility criteria.

3. Booking and Reservations

• Bookings can be made through our online platform or by contacting us directly.
• All reservations are subject to Vehicle availability. We reserve the right to substitute a comparable vehicle if the reserved model is unavailable.
• A confirmation of your booking will be sent upon successful reservation. This email serves as confirmation, but the full Rental Agreement must be signed at the time of pickup.

4. Rental Charges and Payment

• Rental charges include the vehicle rental fee, standard insurance coverage, and any agreed-upon additional services.
• Additional charges may apply for fuel discrepancies, mileage overages (if applicable), late returns, cleaning fees, traffic fines, tolls, and damage not covered by insurance.
• A security deposit is required at the time of rental pickup, typically held on a credit card. This deposit will be released upon the safe return of the Vehicle in its original condition.
• Payment must be made in Euros (€). We accept major credit cards.

5. Vehicle Pickup and Return

• The Vehicle will be provided clean and in full working order with a full tank of fuel. You are expected to return it in the same condition.
• A full inspection of the Vehicle will be conducted at both pickup and return, with any existing damage noted on the Rental Agreement.
• Late returns may incur additional daily rental charges. Please notify us if you anticipate a delay in returning the Vehicle.

6. Your Responsibilities

• You agree to operate the Vehicle safely, responsibly, and in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations in Ireland.
• The Vehicle must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, towing, or driving off-road.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our Vehicles. Evidence of smoking will incur a cleaning fee.
• Any malfunction or damage to the Vehicle must be reported to Geode Drives immediately.
• You are responsible for any traffic violations, parking fines, and tolls incurred during the rental period. An administration fee may apply for processing these.

7. Insurance and Damages

• Our Vehicles come with standard insurance coverage. Details of this coverage and any excess amounts will be provided in the Rental Agreement.
• You are responsible for the excess amount in the event of damage or theft, regardless of fault.
• Optional additional insurance waivers may be available to reduce your liability; please inquire at the time of booking or pickup.
• In case of an accident or theft, you must notify the Garda Síochána (Irish police) and Geode Drives immediately and complete an accident report form.

8. Cancellations and Modifications

• Cancellation policies vary based on the booking type and notice period. Specific details will be provided at the time of booking.
• Modifications to existing bookings are subject to availability and may incur administrative fees or changes in rental rates.

9. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy, available separately on our online platform, explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with relevant data protection laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

Geode Drives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of our services or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific rental period in question.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dublin, Ireland.

12. Amendments to Terms

Geode Drives reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our online platform, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
